Elder Ryan Wilson's Mission

  Hi, the past two weeks have been good for me. I learned a lot about myself and why I am out here. There have been some cool things happening like my trainee is cool, I like him. The other two Elders who we are sharring the area with are cool as well, Elder Mulhand is still here which is awesome love that guy, but Elder Hood my best pal on the mish got sent to the furthest north area, and im the furthest south, so I think the mission president hates me, or just doesn't want me to have friends idk. My trainer is a covid missionary which means he loves to do calls which is good but I hate it, I love being in person and knocking them doors. So the past two weeks ive been knocking. Meet some sickkkk people out here, like yesterday we went on a dirt road for a fat minute to this house/trailer and then the guy came to the door shirtless and with a revolver and to my suprise he wasn't too intersted, but might have to go back in a week and see if hes heart changes.  There was a day o...

Everyone knows Lake Powell is heaven on earth and guess who founded it? John Wesly Powell, and where is he from? Jackson Ohio lol. Now it all makes sense, I thought Columbus Ohio wasn't the place for me but now I know why I am here. I'm gonna find his grandchildren and baptise them. These past two weeks have been sick, transfers are tommorow that is why pday is wednesday this week lol. I am training a brand new missionary so that should be neat, im excited to be able to help him with his first couple weeks because those are the worst lol. Im going to prank him with some members so that should be a hoot. This last week we put our friend Carroll on date for the 16th of this month! She told us that she prayed for help from God and then we showed up on her door lol, God may just know what he is doin, She came to church and it was awkward because it was fast sunday and there was only like 10 people at church, so there was some longgggggg silences lol, i tried my best and took up lik...

The last two weeks have been nothin short of amazing lol there are these members here in Jackson who are so sick and do so much for the missionaries, like feed us twice a week at least and then also help us a lot in the work. I heard SR Cruse talking about how he wants LED lights in his room so we bought him lights and set them up for him and he was almost crying he was so happy and it was so nice to actually do something nice for them because they do so much for us lol.  We got offered to help a "friend"/ investigator to help her kill her chickens and it sounded like so much fun. When we got there and started killing them it wasn't as much fun as I thought and killing a living thing with a knife slitting the throat isn't as easy as I thought, and after you kill it, it screams and then goes crazy for like a whole minute after you slit the throat and blood goes everywhere, so that is horrific to say the least but now I know where to cut to kill something or someone fas...

  The past two weeks have been super nice. I am in a Quad now and the two new Elders are super sick I love them. We are super busy in Jackson and have been having a lot of success from Apple festival. During apple festival I talked to a lot of sick people and I told so many people to call us missionaries to play some ball, and so I've been playing a lot of basketball which has been so fun. We made the classic bet that if we won they had to come to church and sense their eternal salvation was on the line I had to win. The next sunday my guy shows up in shorts and a I love Jesus shirt. Also this Lady we talked to at apple festival named Autumn has been coming to church the last couple times which is sick. The work is going forth, absolutly loving the people, have made some homies out here, but everyone keeps saying they are already saved and don't need another bible, then when I come up with a beautiful response and they ignore it.  Anywho life is great out here, I've talked ...
