Elder Ryan Wilson's Mission

Hello friends and family. Bouta hit 6 months out here kinda crazy. I've learned a lot that's for sure. The last 2 weeks have been full of service which is always a delight. Me and my companion are the car and bike elders for our mission and the mission got 12 new cars that we had to pick up from a dealership forever away. I got to drive alone for like 4 hours this week, just me and my thoughts, kinda scary. But that took a lot of time and then we also helped the moving Elders move people out of apartments across the mission. So lots of driving the past few days.  But did that stop the work? Not really, we still got some good ol lessons in and have a really progressing friend but is stuck on the old tithing thing lol. We have had prolly 3 or 4 hours the past two weeks talking to him about it, and we even brought members,  but he's a little stubborn, so we are working on a different approach that I think we'll get him lol sometimes u have to get creative and find ways for...

  The past two weeks have been eventful. Christmas was upon us and I thought sense it's this time of the year knocking doors would be a delight because people are thinking about Jesus but man was I wrong lol Christmas eve was one of the most humbling days I've had in a while, I'm in a well off area and so door knocking is rough, door after door, and no one was even down to talk, but I'm I giving up?? Maybe who knows lol jk of course not! We are just trying to set up activities for members to bring their friends and stuff like that to find new people to teach so I'm hoping that helps! But I do have to say door knocking always comes around to give you someone and yesterday we found a gem who her and her husband seem decently interested so I'm pumped for that.
